God has moved in many of our students' lives so far this year, and we want to give them the opportunity to publicly declare that they are following Jesus! We'll be celebrating with baptisms at our Mission Camp recap night on Wednesday, June 24 at both Revolution Canton and Revolution Jasper. Whether you are a Mission Camp attendee or a regular RevStudent Attendee, all students are invited to sign up.
What is the relationship of baptism to salvation?
Baptism comes after salvation. Baptism is not what saves you. Baptism is your public profession that you have trusted in Jesus (salvation).
Why should we be baptized?
- It's a step of obedience.
- Jesus was baptized.
- It's a public profession of becoming a follower of Jesus.
How do we baptize?
At Revolution we believe a Biblical baptism is fully in water representing Jesus' life, death and resurrection. The Greek word for baptize is "baptizo" which actually means "immerse."
Baptisms will happen at both Revolution Canton & Revolution Jasper on Wednesday, June 18. Please register for the campus you attend. Registration will close on Tuesday, June 17.
