Thank you so much for taking time to “START HERE.” We believe this is one of the most important steps of faith you can take with your kids. As they begin their journey in following Jesus, it is so important to help them build a strong foundation. By using this resource, you are opening the door for your kids to ask questions about faith in your home and to see you as someone they can talk to about big questions. If their questions feel TOO BIG, please stop, write them down and schedule a meeting with me. We will find the answers together. I never want anyone to feel like they have to be an expert. Kids will respect you seeking the right answers instead of pretending to know something you don’t really know. Please read through the rest of this document to understand the simple commitment and process of this online class.

Overview of the Start Here Process:

This online class is made up of 4 simple steps you can complete over 5 days. Steps 1-3 will take you 20-25 minutes on the first day which are designed to be completed all together in one sitting. Step 4 is a 5-10 minute daily devotion to study for the next 4 days. This is a great way to start the journey of discipleship with your child at home.

• Step 1: WATCH the Gospel Presentation Video with your child (Time Commitment: about 8 minutes)

• Step 2: DISCUSS the Parent Guide with your child but read over this before you sit down with them. Be prepared to answer the questions with them and be open and honest (Time Commitment: about 10-15 minutes)

• Step 3: STUDY the GROW booklet with your child. Schedule and commit to a daily devotional time to read and pray with your child (Time Commitment: about 5-10 minutes each day for 4 days)

• Step 4: COMPLETE the Start Here form to let us know you have finished (Time Commitment: about 5 minutes)
